Study Habits For Writing
There has always been some sort of confusion over the meaning of content writing and copywriting. After reading a blog post on this topic, I feel the need to jump right into the confusing discussion.
What if there’s a fight between children that your teen can’t stop? If the situation is not potentially life-threatening but still serious, encourage your child to call you if he needs immediate assistance. Your teen should know to call for adult back-up anytime he feels out of control and needs to be relieved right away. He should also be encouraged to call you or the child’s parents during the babysitting job if the child won’t cooperate, has locked your teen out of the house or is generally out of control.
And writing never seems to come that easy to you as it does to Real Writer. Maybe that’s because Real Writer is a fiction. He doesn’t exist. And you should stop holding him up as the model for what writing looks like.
Come to think of it, why would any self respecting writer want to write something that no one would want to read? I’d love to know your opinion on this, feel free to drop a comment and tell me why.
Now for the most important item in the distance learning setting; your computer. Just about any computer will work whether it be a laptop or PC. You will also need internet connectivity in order to participate in the online courses and discussion groups. You will also need an office suite that includes a word processor, spreadsheet, and presentation software. You can either pay for one such as Microsoft Office or download Open Office for free. You will also need a printer to print off assignments and proof read them before submitting them for grading.
A car can bring out certain behaviors that can cause serious damage- damage to property and people. It is important to you, as a parent, to be aware of these possible behaviors before you hand over the car keys.
Let your teen know this doesn’t mean s/he can’t talk to other people who don’t have these qualities and characteristics. Encourage your teen to be friendly with everyone, BUT his or her closest friends should have most of the qualities they listed above.
Organize space. Make your study room well organized, clean and everything are in their proper place. Make it a habit to always clean your study room before and after leaving. An orderly room makes your learning much better.
Make sure that you are comfortable when you study. I was one of those people that absolutely hated sitting at a desk, and instead lay on my bed with the ‘custom writing paper service material’ on the floor. Sure it was a little unconventional, but the extra comfort I found really enhanced my learning.
